1. Dr. Tong has been invited to give a keynote talk at the Nanomaterials for Catalysis Symposium at Nanotech2014/TechConnect World in Washington DC on June 18, 2014.

2. Yanyan has successfully passed her Phase IIA exam on May 21. Her performance has drawn praises from her committee. Congratulations, Yanyan, way to go!

3. Tong Lab welcomes REU student John Ziebiec from Indiana University, NW, exchange student Carol Wu from Fudan University, and a returning alumna Kwan Lee from Cornell University.
