03/18/2015: New Funding to TongLab from the ARO

The proposal entitled "Parsing the New Chemistry of Methanol and Formic Acid Oxidation Reactions on Pt-based Electrocatalysts by in situ Spectroelectrochemistry and Density Functional Theory" by Drs. Tong (PI) and Allison (Co-PI, NIST) has been approved for funding by the Army Research Office (ARO) for three years at a level of ~$450k. This much needed funding, which is in addition to the current NSF and DOE-BES fundings, will further support the research thrusts in clean energy generation and storage in TongLab.
