01/08/2015: Intel Science Fair Semi-finanlist

Bennet McGlade, a high schooler from the Blair HS Science and Technology Magnet Program, did a summer intern in the Tong Lab from June to August 2014. He worked with Jayden Xie, a PhD graduate student, on synthesis and electrochemical characterization of organoselenolate stabilized Au nanoparticles. He has submitted his research to the Intel Science Fair competition 2014 and was selected as semifinalist. Congratulations to Bennet!
